They have raised families, supported spouses and lost themselves in careers and are ready to tap into self love and understand who they truly are.  It’s time to start a conversation about the beauty that exists in aging.

why?

This project is very close to my heart. As a woman in my 50’s I have experienced lack of self-esteem issues for the longest time and stopped myself from enjoying life! I spent many years being a daughter, a wife, a mother, a business owner & an entrepreneur … but I neglected ME!

When I turned 50 I found myself looking inward and getting to know my authentic self which has been empowering. I began to see a beautiful woman who is a mum to 3 incredible humans, a woman who has spent the past 28 years married to her best friend & biggest supporter and a woman who cherishes true friends who love her the way she is. For me, 2021 is a journey in confidence, self love & self care.

I wanted to create something very special for all women to enjoy. I want every woman to feel and look beautiful. It will be fun, fulfilling and transformational.

It’s all very exciting but I’m sure you have some questions so let me jump ahead and hopefully you’ll find your answer here.

Any woman over the age of 50! My goal is to photograph a wide variety of women, of all shapes and sizes. Women with different tastes, of different backgrounds and different views of life. Women with one thing in common: they want to feel and look beautiful.

There are only 50 spots for this project… so don’t hesitate… Be bold .. be brave .. it’s your time to shine!

There is a participation fee of $390. For which you will receive:

– A phone or Zoom consultation to help design your session & wardrobe and to discuss how you would like to be photographed.

– Professional hair & makeup styling the day of the session.

– A fully guided magazine style photoshoot with up to 4 outfits.

– A reveal session & slideshow to view your amazing images.

– An 11×14″matted 8×10″ Art Print and the opportunity to purchase more of your portraits if wish.

– One of your beautiful portraits and your story on display in a gallery exhibit and celebration.

When your photoshoot is over, we will have created some of the most beautiful images you have ever seen of yourself. You’ll be able to choose your favourites, and decide how you’d like to display them.

Samples of all these beautiful products will be in my studio on the day of your photoshoot, so you can see them in person.

My images start at $450 on the Wall and go up from there. My beautiful big Signature Heirloom Box Collections start at $1500 and go up from there. The final images are your choice. There is no hard sell. It’s my job to take images of you that you LOVE so you want them all! Everything you purchase will also be given to you digitally.

I’ve heard every excuse as to why now isn’t the right time to be photographed from “I need to lose weight” to “I’m not photogenic” and “I don’t like my smile” – I promise you no-one thinks they are ‘ready’.

The women on my website are real women – mums, sisters, daughters, grandmothers so trust me, you’re in good hands. You will love your portraits.

As your photographer, I will strategically pose and light you in ways that will be flattering to you.

Not photogenic? Nonsense! It is not your job to be. I’ve got you! It is my job to connect, make you comfortable and show you in your best light with flattering posing & lighting to bring out the authentic you.

Of course! You can bring anyone you wish if you just want some support. But to truly capture your true self… it is sometimes easier to not have distractions of others.

You can also bring someone (mother, daughter, spouse) if you wanted to be photographed together! There would be an additional $200 charge for the extra person and they will also receive their hair & make up done. Wardrobe coordination is also advised and included.

After your portrait session you’ll be able see all your beautiful photos, choose your included 8×10″ (11×14″ mat) Art Print image and have the opportunity to purchase more if you wish. What you purchase is entirely up to you and I’ll show you all the beautiful products available before we begin your session.

You will be featured in a 50 Over 50 magazine and gallery exhibition. The date & venue will be announced at a later time. This will be a glorious celebration of women and their stories!

After all 50 women have been photographed and stories collected, I will host a special evening with a gallery exhibit and celebration showcasing all of the beautiful portraits. I will not have details of dates and locations until I have finished photographing the women. It will be an event that you won’t want to miss!

The project will be promoted in many ways so you’ll need to agree to:

  • Before & After photo to be used on social media, print media, website and any other marketing materials.
  • Interview questions to be answered before and after your photo shoot. This may include a video testimonial.
  • Attendance at the gallery exhibition at the completion of the project.
  • Other conditions may apply.
